Parts Counter

As a Parts Counter for Power Motive Corporation, you will play a vital role in our parts departments overall success. The Parts Counter is responsible for assisting customers and our service technicians in identifying, ordering, and purchasing the correct parts for heavy equipment, while maintaining accurate inventory and providing excellent customer service. This role is essential for keeping the service department running smoothly , ensuring parts availability , and maximizing customer satisfaction . It blends retail sales, technical support, and inventory control , making it a critical operational position in our heavy equipment dealership. Essential Functions: Assist customers in locating and purchasing parts for their machine needs. Process orders and quote requests from customers, PSSR’s and Service Technicians. Perform daily invoicing for shipped parts as well as submit purchase orders for backordered parts. If need be, expedite backordered parts with their respective vendor or alternate supplier on a as needed basis. Processes all parts returns- both shop returns and customer returns. Files all claims with vendors. Helps receiving on an as need basis. Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs. Attends training classes to stay current on parts programs. Assists in cycle count and any department projects as deemed necessary. Maintain a clean showroom. Tracks all parts sales and lost sales. Maintains logs of customer quotes and lost deals. Duties & Responsibilities: Projects a positive company image by interacting with fellow employees, customers, and management in a cooperative, supportive, and courteous manner; displays a professional attitude while complying with company policies and procedures. Maintain a clean, orderly, and professional work area. Perform other duties as directed.
