The Opportunity: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Parts Associate with a strong Shipping & Receiving background to join our team. In this vital role, you will manage our parts inventory, source components, and handle incoming and outgoing freight for our key agricultural machinery lines, ensuring our service shop and farming customers get the exact components they need efficiently and cost effectively. Main duties and key responsibilities include: Inventory & Parts Management: Source, order, and catalogue OEM parts for our main equipment lines ( JCB, McHale, KUHN, TYM Tractor, SILOKING, McCormick , and others). Assist technicians and counter customers with complex parts lookups. Shipping & Receiving: Receive incoming freight, verify shipments against purchase orders, inspect components for damage, and accurately log details into our inventory system. Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare outgoing parts orders for counter sales, couriers, or LTL freight transport. Inventory Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe inventory layout. Conduct regular cycle counts and annual inventory audits. Assist Customers: Assist customers at the counter and over the phone with their parts requests in a friendly and timely manner. A qualified candidate will possess the following competencies and skills: Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Parts Associate or Parts Advisor, ideally within an agricultural, heavy truck, or industrial equipment dealership. Experience looking up parts in e-catalogs and dealing with major ag/heavy equipment brands (experience with JCB, McHale, KUHN, TYM, SILOKING, or McCormick is a major asset). Experience with industrial shipping and receiving procedures (e.g., handling bills of lading, booking freight carriers, tracking cargo). Proficiency with ERP software is highly preferred. Exceptional phone manners and customer service skills. A detail-oriented self-starter with great organizational and problem-solving skills. Ability to remain level-headed while under pressure in what can be a fast-paced environment. Valid Forklift Certification (or willingness to get certified). Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stay on your feet in a fast-paced environment.
