Parts Associate Position Summary We are looking for an organized, dependable, and detail-oriented Parts Associate to support our aviation maintenance and parts operations. This position is responsible for the day-to-day handling of aircraft parts and materials, including receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, parts issuance, and maintaining accurate records across our inventory and sales systems. The Parts Associate works closely with the Parts Manager, maintenance technicians, vendors, and other team members to ensure parts are accurately tracked, readily available, and handled in accordance with company procedures and applicable aviation requirements. Key Responsibilities Receive, inspect, verify, label, and stock incoming aircraft parts and materials. Pick, pull, package, and process parts for eBay, over-the-counter, and other customer sales. Issue parts and materials to maintenance personnel in accordance with work orders and company procedures. Maintain accurate inventory quantities, locations, descriptions, part numbers, and other records within EBIS and related systems. Assist with maintaining consistent and accurate product and inventory data across EBIS, eBay, and PartsBase. Research pricing and availability from multiple sources and provide findings to the Parts Manager for review. Prepare quotes in EBIS using pricing approved by the Parts Manager and communicate completed quotes to customers or internal requestors. Monitor inventory levels and communicate potential shortages or reorder needs to the Parts Manager. Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and reconciliation of inventory discrepancies. Process parts returns, warranty claims, exchanges, and core tracking. Maintain proper labeling, storage, organization, and rotation of inventory. Assist with shipping, receiving, and logistics as needed. Maintain an organized, clean, and safe parts room and warehouse. Follow company procedures and applicable FAA, quality, and documentation requirements for aircraft parts and materials. Communicate professionally with technicians, customers, vendors, and other departments. Perform other parts, inventory, and warehouse duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. At least one year of experience in a parts, inventory, warehouse, automotive, or similar role preferred. Aviation or aerospace parts experience is preferred but not required. Familiarity with aircraft parts, materials, or maintenance operations is a plus. Comfortable learning and working within inventory management and point-of-sale software. Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer systems. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records. Ability to stay organized and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Dependable, self-motivated, and able to follow tasks through to completion. Strong communication and customer service skills. Must be authorized to work in the United States and able to successfully complete required background and drug screening. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to regularly bend, crouch, reach, and lift. Ability to safely climb and work from ladders as needed.
