About the Role The Parts Advisor is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while assisting customers with their parts, accessories, apparel, and maintenance product needs. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to identify and source the correct products efficiently. From OEM replacement parts and maintenance items to riding gear, marine accessories, helmets, and watersports equipment, the Parts Advisor plays a key role in ensuring our customers have everything they need to enjoy their time on the water, trails, road, or snow. Key Responsibilities Customer Service & Sales Greet customers in a friendly, professional manner. Assist customers in person, over the phone, and by email. Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate parts, accessories, and apparel. Create estimates, process sales transactions, and handle special orders. Educate customers on product features, benefits, and maintenance requirements. Upsell complementary products and accessories where appropriate. Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally. Build and maintain long-term customer relationships through exceptional service. Parts Support Research and identify correct parts using electronic catalogs and manufacturer systems. Source product availability, pricing, and lead times. Follow up on customer orders, special orders, and backorders. Coordinate with the service department to support repair and maintenance needs. Maintain accurate records of customer orders and communications. Merchandising & Store Presentation Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked displays. Ensure products are properly priced and labeled. Assist with seasonal displays, promotional events, and showroom merchandising. Support dealership sales initiatives and marketing promotions. Knowledge of powersports, marine, motorcycle, ATV, or snowmobile products. Experience in a parts, automotive, powersports, or marine environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
