Parts Advisor

Parts Advisor – Front Retail Counter Olathe Toyota’s Parts Department has an immediate opening for a Parts Advisor at the front retail counter. We are looking for a motivated, professional candidate with previous automotive parts experience who is interested in joining an established team and building a long-term career with the dealership. Our parts department is known for teamwork, customer service, and efficient operations. We are looking for someone who will contribute to the department and become a dependable part of the team. This Parts Advisor position is based at the front retail counter. Compensation includes a team-based commission plan tied to the department’s monthly gross profit. The position also includes a full benefits package and opportunities for advancement. Responsibilities Assist customers at the front retail counter with parts lookup, quotes, and ordering when needed Answer incoming phone calls from local and e-commerce customers needing parts quotes or assistance placing orders Pull, stage, and prepare retail parts orders for pickup Notify customers when their order is ready for pickup Monitor and respond to customer emails and voicemails in a timely and professional manner Work with the service department by assisting with quoting, billing, and pulling parts for repair orders Maintain organized work areas including merchandising the front retail parts area Provide exceptional customer service while building long-term customer relationships Contribute positively to a fast-paced team environment focused on shared success Qualifications & Skills At least two years of automotive parts sales experience in a dealership or automotive parts store is required. Toyota parts experience is highly preferred Experience using Reynolds & Reynolds DMS Familiarity with RevolutionParts or Toyota's TPCO e-commerce platform is preferred Strong knowledge of automotive repair, maintenance, and parts terminology Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Dependable, self-motivated, and proactive work ethic Ability to multitask and perform efficiently in a fast-paced environment Basic retail math and inventory management skills Experience with stocking, order fulfillment, and inventory organization Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus What We Offer Competitive commission-based pay structure Team-oriented work environment with excellent department chemistry Career growth opportunities within a respected dealership Health, dental, and vision benefits Paid time off and holidays Stable, long-term employment opportunity with a growing dealership Once trained the schedule is Tuesday - Friday 9:30-6:30 and Saturday 8-4 with lunch provided on Saturdays.
