Parts Advisor

Job Summary We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Parts Advisor to join our automotive dealership team. The ideal candidate will manage parts inventory, assist customers with parts selection, and support the service department to ensure efficient operations. This role requires excellent communication skills, organizational abilities, and a strong understanding of automotive parts and repair processes. Bilingual abilities and dealership experience are highly valued to enhance customer service and sales effectiveness. Duties Assist customers in identifying and selecting the correct automotive parts through effective communication and product knowledge Manage inventory levels, order fulfillment, and stock organization using POS systems and CMMS software Process sales transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, offering technical advice, and negotiating sales terms Support marketing initiatives to promote parts sales and dealership services Maintain accurate records of sales, orders, and customer interactions using Microsoft Excel and other relevant tools Ensure the maintenance of a clean, organized work environment in the parts department Collaborate with the service department to facilitate timely parts delivery for repairs and maintenance Handle phone inquiries professionally, providing information on product availability and pricing Experience Previous dealership experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate Familiarity with POS systems, retail sales processes, and inventory management software such as CMMS is advantageous Experience in automotive repair or maintenance environments is a plus Strong customer service background with excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and negotiation abilities Bilingual skills (e.g., Spanish-English) are highly desirable to serve a diverse customer base Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, math skills for order fulfillment, and organizational skills are essential for success in this role Prior experience in sales management or marketing within an automotive setting will be considered an asset Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.11-$28.07 per hour Work Location: In person
