Role Description The Parts Advisor is a full-time, on-site role based at Ericksen Nissan in Edmonton, AB. This role is responsible for assisting service technicians and retail customers in identifying, sourcing, and ordering the correct Nissan parts and accessories. Day-to-day tasks include managing parts inquiries at the counter and over the phone, providing pricing and availability, and ensuring parts are accurately entered into the dealer management system. The Parts Advisor maintains organized inventory, receives and stocks parts shipments, and prepares parts for service appointments. The role also involves coordinating with the service and sales departments, processing returns, and supporting a high level of customer satisfaction through timely, accurate service. Qualifications Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction skills to support positive interactions and repeat business. Dealer Management and Inventory Control skills to manage parts data, stock levels, and ordering processes. Strong Communication skills to work effectively with customers, technicians, and other dealership staff. Previous experience in automotive parts, service, or a dealership environment is an asset. Ability to work on-site full-time, including potential Saturdays or extended hours as required. Basic computer proficiency and comfort using inventory or dealership management software. Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to lift and move automotive parts safely. High school diploma or equivalent; additional automotive or parts training is an advantage. Experience with Nissan and PBS is preferred.
