Parts Advisor

Sherwood Motorcars is seeking a dynamic Parts Advisor who has knowledge and passion for working with Luxury, Exotic, and Classic vehicles! In this role, you will be the key point of contact for customers and technicians seeking automotive parts and accessories. You'll work directly with the service department to help source, price and order parts for various stock and customer vehicles. Your enthusiasm for cars, excellent communication skills, and organizational prowess will drive customer satisfaction and ensure smooth operations within our dealership’s parts department. Responsibilities Assist service and sales departments in selecting the correct parts and accessories, providing expert advice based on their needs. Sourcing parts from various places as needed. Manage parts inventory using dealership management systems (CDK) and ensure accurate order fulfillment. Collaborate with service department to identify parts requirements for repairs and maintenance. Maintain organized records of orders, returns, and inventory levels using Google Sheets or similar tools. Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the parts department to facilitate quick access and efficient workflow. Qualifications Previous dealership experience or automotive retail sales background is highly preferred. Familiarity with CDK is an asset Strong communication skills, negotiation abilities, and excellent phone etiquette. Knowledge of automotive repair processes, maintenance procedures, and parts identification. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, math skills for inventory management, and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks effectively.
