Part-Time/Weekend Delivery Driver

Duties Safely operate box trucks, vans, or personal vehicles to deliver goods to customers' locations on designated routes. Load and unload items using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, or material handling equipment while adhering to safe lifting practices. Follow all traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations to ensure safe driving at all times. Manage route driving efficiently using mobile devices for navigation and delivery updates. Provide excellent customer service by ensuring timely deliveries and addressing customer inquiries professionally. Assist with warehouse operations when necessary, including moving inventory and supporting warehouse staff with manual handling tasks. Maintain accurate delivery records, logs, and documentation for each shipment in compliance with company policies. Skills Proven delivery driver experience with familiarity in route driving and load & unload procedures. Warehouse experience or knowledge of warehouse operations is a plus. Ability to operate commercial trucks, box trucks, or vans with manual transmission confidently. Strong understanding of manual handling, heavy lifting, and safe lifting practices to prevent injuries. Knowledge of material handling equipment operation such as pallet jacks or other moving tools. Adherence to traffic regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation) standards, and safety protocols during all driving activities. Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude when interacting with clients. Ability to handle weight in the workplace responsibly while maintaining safety standards.
