Part-Time Vietnamese Student Support & Meal Logistics Assistant

Kingsway Academy is seeking a reliable, caring and organized Vietnamese-speaking Student Support & Meal Logistics Assistant to join our Student Affairs team. This position combines student support responsibilities with daily meal pick-up and other student-related transportation duties. The successful candidate must have a valid driver’s license and reliable access to a personal vehicle. Main Responsibilities Student Support Assist the Senior Student Counsellor in providing day-to-day support to Vietnamese-speaking students Help students adjust to school life, residence life and living in Canada Follow up with students regarding attendance, academic progress, behaviour and general well-being Assist with student activities and events Help students with general academic and post-secondary planning under the direction of senior staff Assist with student conflicts, communication issues and routine student concerns Support other international students when required Perform routine Student Affairs administrative and follow-up duties Meal Pick-up and Logistics Pick up student lunch Monday through Friday and deliver it to the school Assist with lunch distribution when required Return food trays or containers to the supplier when necessary Pick up student dinner approximately three evenings per week Assist with occasional approved student-related transportation or school errands Typical Schedule The general schedule is approximately: Monday to Friday, starting around 11:45 a.m. On days with dinner pick-up, work may continue until approximately 5:15 p.m. Some flexibility may be available depending on the successful candidate’s schedule, provided that the school’s meal pick-up requirements can be reliably covered. Approximately 20–25 hours per week . Required Qualifications Fluent or highly proficient in Vietnamese Good English communication skills Valid driver’s license – required Reliable access to your own vehicle – required Appropriate automobile insurance Reliable, punctual and responsible Comfortable working with high school students Good interpersonal and communication skills Experience working with youth, international students, education, counselling or community services is an asset but is not required. Compensation Hourly compensation Authorized business driving using the employee’s personal vehicle will be reimbursed separately on a kilometre basis Business mileage reimbursement is in addition to hourly wages About Kingsway Academy Kingsway Academy is an international high school located in London, Ontario, serving students from a variety of countries and cultural backgrounds.
