Part-Time Truck Driver only needed 2 days a week

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to transport goods and materials over short distances, within the GTA. The ideal candidate will operate commercial vehicles, including trucks and trailers, to deliver cargo safely and efficiently. Duties: - Safely drive trucks to transport and deliver products or materials - Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment - Plan routes and meet delivery schedules - Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving - Comply with truck driving rules and regulations, as well as company policies - Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues - Perform preventative maintenance tasks such as checking oil, water, fuel, tires, etc. - Keep the truck clean and presentable at all times Skills: - Proven experience as a truck driver - Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly - Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations - No recent moving or driving violations - Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc.) - Willingness to adhere to company safety standards - Strong communication skills Preferred Skills: - Experience in heavy equipment operation - Commercial driving experience - Forklift operation skills - Basic knowledge of automotive repair - Familiarity with freight handling procedures Driver must have at least 2 years of experience and have their AZ licenses with clean record.
