Responsibilities Safely operate a variety of commercial trucks such as tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers, refrigerated trailers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations. Manage route driving with precision, adhering to schedules and traffic laws while optimizing delivery times. Secure freight properly for transport to prevent damage during transit. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records. Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery status or any issues encountered during routes. Experience Sap Friendly. Proven experience in truck driving with a focus on commercial driving environments. Automatic transmission. Prior delivery driver experience handling freight in various settings is highly preferred. Preferred knowledge of refrigerated trailers. Experience navigating diverse routes with route driving responsibilities across urban or rural areas. Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL).
