Part Time Stock Superviser

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Part Time Stock Supervisor to join our retail team. In this role, you will oversee inventory management, stock replenishment, and store merchandising to ensure our shelves are fully stocked and visually appealing. You will lead stock-related operations, supervise team members involved in stocking activities, and maintain optimal inventory levels. Duties Supervise daily stockroom activities, including stocking, merchandising, and inventory replenishment to ensure product availability. Manage inventory control processes, including stock counts, cycle counts, and reconciliation to maintain accurate records. Coordinate purchasing and restocking efforts with suppliers and vendors to optimize inventory levels. Train and mentor team members on proper stocking procedures, POS (Point of Sale) systems, pricing strategies, and customer service standards. Oversee cashiering operations, cash handling, and POS system usage to ensure smooth checkout experiences. Implement merchandising plans that align with marketing campaigns and store presentation standards. Conduct regular stock audits, manage shrinkage issues, and enforce store policies related to inventory management. Skills Strong management skills with experience supervising retail staff in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills for effective managerial communication and team training. Proficiency in POS systems, inventory management software, and basic bookkeeping practices. Demonstrated negotiation skills for purchasing negotiations with vendors or suppliers. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases effectively. Knowledge of retail math including pricing strategies, sales management, and budgeting principles. Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently with excellent organizational skills and time management. Experience in retail industry sales team management, operational management, and shift supervision. Customer service expertise with phone etiquette and friendly interpersonal skills.
