Part-Time Showroom Associate – Fine Jewelry

Join a fine jewelry company at its private Hinsdale showroom. You’ll welcome clients for appointments and keep orders, inventory, and events running beautifully. We’re looking for an organized, personable associate. The role combines order fulfillment, inventory management, and production coordination with welcoming clients for private appointments and supporting events, an area of the business we are actively growing. This role suits someone who takes pride in doing things carefully and well, and who wants to grow with a small, ambitious company. What you’ll do Welcome clients and support private appointments, help schedule visits, and follow up afterward to build lasting relationships. Support trunk shows, VIP events, and retail partner activities. Coordinate jewelry loans for styling and press requests, including shipments, returns, and tracking. Prepare and package online and retail orders, arrange insured shipments, and track deliveries. Receive jewelry, update inventory records, and keep track of order deadlines. Coordinate with production and workshop partners on orders in progress, timelines, and deliveries. Keep packaging, supplies, and the showroom organized and ready. Take simple photos and videos of jewelry for the website and social media. What we’re looking for Experience in retail, client service, hospitality, events, e-commerce, or operations; luxury experience is a plus. A warm, polished manner, comfort building relationships with clients, and clear written communication. Exceptional care and attention to detail when handling valuable pieces. Reliability, discretion, and the ability to work independently. Clear, persistent follow-up with partners and vendors. Comfort with digital tools; experience with Shopify and Canva is a plus. An interest in jewelry, design, or art. A degree is not required. We value practical ability, curiosity, and follow-through. Training is provided, with room to take on more responsibility over time. Schedule 15–20 hours per week, with shifts scheduled in advance on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, plus occasional event support. A background check is required.
