Part-Time Shipping & Storage Associate

Schedule: Saturdays, 10:00 AM–3:00 PM Additional Hours: Occasional fill-in shifts, with potential opportunities to cover other properties in the Cypress area. About the Position This part-time position combines shipping and mailing services with self-storage operations . Responsibilities include assisting customers with package drop-offs, shipping and mailing packages, providing mailbox services, renting storage units, and helping maintain a clean, organized property. We are looking for someone who is friendly, professional, dependable, and willing to jump in wherever needed. Exceptional customer service skills are a must. The ideal candidate is a team player who works well with others but is also comfortable working independently and managing responsibilities with minimal supervision. Previous shipping, mailing, UPS/FedEx, or mailbox service experience is a major plus! Responsibilities Assist customers with shipping and mailing packages, package drop-offs, and mailbox services Provide outstanding customer service in person and over the phone Rent storage units and assist customers with move-ins and move-outs Answer customer questions and resolve issues professionally Follow up with prospective tenants and leasing leads Process payments and maintain accurate customer records Assist with collections and contact delinquent tenants professionally Walk the property regularly to inspect for cleanliness, safety, and maintenance concerns Sweep vacant units and perform light grounds maintenance Report maintenance issues and property concerns Maintain a clean and organized office environment Assist with general administrative and operational tasks as needed Qualifications Excellent customer service and communication skills Friendly, outgoing, and professional demeanor Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Reliable, punctual, and dependable Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently Comfortable making phone calls and interacting with customers Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new software Ability to walk the property and perform light physical work Ability to lift up to 25 pounds Previous shipping, mailing, UPS/FedEx, or mailbox service experience is a major plus Previous customer service, retail, leasing, property management, or self-storage experience is preferred but not required Why Join Our Team?
