Part-Time Shipping & Packaging Fulfillment Associate

We create gourmet marshmallows and imaginative treats that make everyday moments a little sweeter. From online orders to retail shelves across the country, our small team helps bring a whole lot of squishy joy to our customers. We’re looking for a dependable, detail-oriented person to join our Fulfillment Department! This hands-on role splits time between shipping customer and wholesale orders and packaging our marshmallows and treats. You’ll work under our Head of Fulfillment, with daily assignments based on order volume and packaging needs. What You’ll Do Shipping & Order Fulfillment Accurately pick, pack, and prepare online and wholesale orders for shipment. Check products, quantities, and order details before packing. Prepare shipping boxes, labels, packing materials, and inserts. Follow packing instructions so orders arrive looking great. Flag missing items, damaged products, or order discrepancies to the Head of Fulfillment. Help organize products and shipping supplies and keep workstations stocked. Product Packaging Package marshmallows and other treats according to XO’s quality and presentation standards. Assemble packaging, seal products, and apply labels accurately. Check finished products for correct counts, secure seals, and consistent presentation. Follow food safety, sanitation, and allergen procedures. Keep packaging areas, tools, and supplies clean and organized. Team Support Move between shipping and packaging tasks as priorities change. Communicate clearly with teammates and the Head of Fulfillment. Help keep the department running smoothly during busy seasons and product launches. What We’re Looking For Reliability, punctuality, and a strong sense of responsibility. Attention to detail, especially when counting products, checking orders, and applying labels. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Comfort with repetitive, hands-on work while maintaining accuracy and quality. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Willingness to learn shipping software, packaging processes, and food safety procedures. Ability to perform the role’s physical tasks, including standing for extended periods, bending, reaching, and moving boxes, with reasonable accommodation as needed. Preferred Experience Experience in any of the following is a plus, but we’re happy to train someone with a great work ethic and willingness to learn: E-commerce fulfillment, shipping, or warehouse operations. Picking and packing wholesale orders. Food production, product packaging, or assembly. Shipping software, label printers, or inventory systems. Working in a busy environment with daily deadlines.
