Part-Time Sales Associate

We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Part-Time Sales Associate to join our team at Handpicked Interiors, a new design, flooring and tile store opening in Esterhazy, SK. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, a strong interest in our products, and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment. Key Responsibilities: Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, addressing their needs and providing product recommendations. Promote and sell a variety of flooring options and tile products, explaining features, benefits, and pricing. Maintain product knowledge on flooring materials, tile brands, and services offered to guide customers effectively. Assist with inventory management, ensuring shelves and displays are stocked and organized. Process sales transactions, returns, and exchanges efficiently using the point-of-sale system. Help customers with product selection and any questions regarding delivery or installation options. Provide outstanding customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving any issues or complaints. Assist with store maintenance, including keeping the sales floor clean and organized. Collaborate with the team to meet sales goals and contribute to a positive store atmosphere. Qualifications: Previous retail sales experience preferred but not required. Experience selling flooring and tile would be an asset. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work well in a team environment. Basic math skills and experience handling cash and processing transactions. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Ability to multitask and handle a fast-paced work environment. A positive attitude, professional appearance, and a customer-first mindset. Availability to work weekends and flexible hours as needed. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry products weighing up to 50 lbs. Stand for extended periods and assist customers on the sales floor. Benefits: Competitive hourly wage.
