Part-Time Property, Fleet & Materials Assistant

TorCo Builders | North San Diego County Pay: $16.90–$25.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications Hours: Approximately 8–12 hours per week Schedule: Extremely flexible, including afternoons, evenings, and weekends TorCo Builders is a small, growing construction company seeking a dependable, organized individual to help maintain our property, company vehicles, tools, and material storage. This is a hands-on, entry-level position with no previous experience required. It's an excellent opportunity for a responsible student or someone seeking flexible supplemental income. Most work is independent, with clearly established responsibilities and organizational systems. We're looking for someone who takes pride in keeping things clean, orderly, and well maintained. Primary Responsibilities Property & Grounds Maintenance Weed trimming, weeding, and general landscaping Maintaining clean and orderly outdoor areas Yard cleanup, debris removal, and occasional light digging General property upkeep Truck Cleaning & Organization Washing and cleaning company trucks, inside and out Organizing tools, equipment, and supplies in vehicles Returning misplaced items to their designated locations Keeping vehicles clean, stocked, and ready for work Materials & Inventory Organization Maintaining clean and organized material storage areas Sorting and organizing construction materials, hardware, and supplies Learning established storage locations and keeping everything in its proper place Monitoring inventory and identifying items that need restocking Additional Opportunities Depending on availability, experience, and qualifications, occasional additional work may include: Delivering materials or tools to local job sites Returning unused materials to suppliers Assisting with light job site tasks or cleanup Providing an extra set of hands for simple construction tasks A valid driver's license is a plus but is not required. Driving and job site duties are limited to employees legally qualified and authorized to perform them. Ideal Candidate Naturally organized with excellent attention to detail Reliable, responsible, and self-motivated Capable of following established procedures independently Comfortable performing physical work outdoors Takes initiative to keep assigned areas clean and organized No previous construction experience necessary Flexible Schedule Approximately 8–12 hours per week. Most responsibilities can be completed at convenient times, making this position well suited for students or individuals with other commitments. Occasional additional work may be offered as schedules permit.
