Part-Time Operations Associate

Reports to: Boutique Director

Role Overview

The Part-Time Operations Associate plays a crucial role in supporting the efficient and seamless operation of the boutique. This position is responsible for maintaining operational excellence and precision in inventory management, contributing to the overall profitability and client experience of the boutique by ensuring organized and timely handling of merchandise and supporting various operational tasks.

Responsibilities

· Maintain a neat, organized, and safe back-of-house and stockroom environment.

· Uphold inventory management standards, ensuring accuracy of stock through diligent processing and organization.

· Participate in inventory checks, cycle counts, and auditing processes, accurately handling merchandise including tagging, quality control, and protection.

· Manage the receiving, processing, and dispatching of stock deliveries and transfers, including opening and packing boxes and moving merchandise.

· Optimize stockroom and sales floor space for efficient merchandise accessibility and presentation.

· Ensure strict adherence to loss prevention procedures and protocols.

· Assist with maintaining store supplies order and organization.

· Support the process for client repairs and refurbishment, ensuring timely handling.

· Participate in boutique opening and closing procedures as required.

· Contribute to maintaining the aesthetic quality and visual standards of the store.

· Provide support to the sales team, including assisting with product knowledge and client greeting, when necessary, to ensure a seamless client journey.

Qualifications

· 1-3 years of experience in retail operations or stock management, preferably within a luxury retail environment.

· Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

· Basic computer and Microsoft office proficiency

· Understanding of customer service principles and a commitment to supporting a client-centric environment.

· Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time.

· Ability to lift up to 20lb boxes regularly.
