Part Time Non CDL Driver/Yard Associate

City Lumber is looking for a dependable, safety-minded individual to join our team in a part-time position. We're looking for someone who takes pride in doing things right, thinks ahead, solves problems, and brings a great attitude to work every day. Driving will be a primary responsibility, but in-store and lumberyard duties will also be expected. Responsibilities Safely operate company vehicles to deliver lumber, building materials, and other products to customers. Practice safe driving habits and use good judgment when navigating job sites, handling materials, and operating equipment. Properly load, unload, and secure materials to prevent damage or injury. Assist customers with loading purchases and provide friendly, helpful service. Help pull, stage, stock, and organize customer orders and inventory. Assist with general store operations, lumberyard organization, and upkeep. Pitch in wherever needed to keep daily operations running smoothly. What We're Looking For Valid driver's license and a good driving record. Ability to safely operate a non-CDL delivery vehicle. Good problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet. A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to help. Dependable, punctual, and responsible. Ability to work independently while also being a team player. Comfortable with physical work, including lifting and moving building materials. Professional and courteous when interacting with customers. Previous delivery, warehouse, or lumberyard experience is a plus, but not required.
