Part-Time Moving Helper

Job Overview LoadWell Moving & Labor Services is seeking dependable, hardworking individuals to join our growing moving crew in the San Antonio area. As a Part-Time Moving Helper, you’ll assist customers with residential moves, apartment relocations, storage transfers, and loading or unloading rental trucks and moving containers. We’re looking for individuals who take pride in their work, respect customers’ belongings, and understand the importance of showing up prepared and on time. This is an as-needed position with opportunities for additional work as the business grows. We’re building a reliable team and looking for people who want to grow with us. Key Responsibilities ● Safely load and unload furniture, boxes, appliances, and household belongings. ● Protect customers’ property by handling items carefully and using proper moving techniques. ● Assist with organizing and securing items inside moving trucks, storage units, and containers. ● Use moving equipment such as furniture dollies, hand trucks, and moving straps when appropriate. ● Work efficiently with other crew members to complete jobs on schedule. ● Maintain a professional, respectful attitude toward customers and teammates. ● Follow company instructions, safety procedures, and job-specific requirements. ● Report damaged items, unsafe conditions, or customer concerns immediately. Requirements ● Must be at least 18 years old. ● Must have reliable transportation to assigned job locations. ● Must have a reliable phone for scheduling and communication. ● Must be punctual, dependable, and available for scheduled assignments. ● Must be physically capable of performing moving-related work, including repeated lifting, carrying, bending, pushing, and pulling, with or without reasonable accommodation. ● Must be comfortable working in different environments, including apartments, houses, storage facilities, and outdoor conditions. ● Must be able to follow directions, communicate clearly, and work effectively with a team. ● Must demonstrate professionalism and respect when handling customers’ belongings. ● Previous moving, delivery, construction, or other physical labor experience is preferred but not required. ● Must be willing to complete an initial screening and demonstrate safe moving practices.
