Part-Time Inventory & Warehouse Specialist

Job Summary We are a plumbing and drain cleaning company looking for a detail-oriented Inventory & Warehouse Specialist to take control of our shop warehouse, service vehicle stock, and material tracking system. In this role, you will be the gatekeeper for our shop inventory and work directly with our field plumbers and dispatch team using Service Fusion field service software. Your main goal is to ensure our techs have the right materials on their trucks every morning while eliminating lost inventory and unbilled parts. Key Responsibilities: Shop Gatekeeping & Material Staging (Morning Window): Manage shop check-outs every morning as technicians prepare for the day. Log all shop-to-truck material movements as Warehouse Transfers in Service Fusion. Receive and inspect vendor deliveries, verifying packing slips against open Purchase Orders (POs). Fleet Stock Audits & Par Level Management: Perform weekly physical inventory audits across our 9 service vehicles on a rolling 3-truck rotation. Compare physical truck counts to Service Fusion expected levels to identify missing, unbilled, or excess inventory. Restock vans back to their required standard stock levels. Receipt & PO Reconciliation: Review supply house receipts uploaded by technicians. Ensure all counter purchases are correctly tagged to specific customer Job Numbers. Warehouse Organization & Reordering: Maintain clean, organized, and clearly labeled shop bins and shelving. Monitor shop stock levels and alert management when core supplies (cleanout plugs, repair parts, PVC fittings) reach reorder points. Qualifications & Skills Required: High attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Basic computer and tablet literacy (comfortable using field management apps like Service Fusion). Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (heavy cable drums, pipe fittings, bulk chemicals). Dependable attendance. Punctuality during morning check-out hours is critical. Prior experience in plumbing, HVAC, electrical, or trade warehouse inventory. Experience with Service Fusion or similar Field Service Management software (Jobber, Housecall Pro, ServiceTitan). Schedule: 6AM-10AM, Monday - Friday Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 per week Work Location: In person
