Part-Time Fulfillment Associate (Picker/Packer)

About the role Nurtured 9 creates thoughtfully curated gift boxes for expectant and new parents. We’re looking for a dependable, detail-oriented part-time Fulfillment Associate to help pick, pack and prepare orders for shipment. This role is a good fit for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in getting the details right, and can work reliably within a scheduled team shift. Responsibilities Pick products and packaging materials for customer orders. Assemble and pack gift boxes according to order instructions and Nurtured 9 quality standards. Check each order for accuracy, presentation and completeness before it moves to shipping. Handle products and finished packages carefully. Support basic product preparation, including folding robes, cutting ribbon and restocking commonly used packing supplies. Complete assigned opening or closing tasks, such as preparing work areas, replenishing supplies, tidying stations and returning materials to their designated locations. Keep work areas clean, organized and safe. Notify the Fulfillment Team Lead about low stock, damaged items, order discrepancies or supply needs. Follow established procedures for personalization and customization when trained and assigned. Work cooperatively with the fulfillment team to meet daily shipping priorities. Qualifications Dependable, punctual and able to consistently fulfill assigned shifts Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Able to work at a steady pace while maintaining accuracy and presentation quality. Clear, polished and highly leginle handwriting for handwritten gift notes. Reliable personal cell phone for scheduling and team communication. Preferrably has access to a personal laptop for training, scheduling and administrative tasks. Comfortable using a computer, tablet or scanner for basic order and inventory tasks. Positive, respectful communication and willingness to ask questions when an order is unclear. Previous experience in order fulfillment, retail, production, packing or a similar hands-on role is helpful, but not required. Physical requirements Ability to stand and move around the work area for most of the shift. Ability to bend, reach and lift typical gift-box and shipping supplies, with reasonable accommodation where required. Repetitive hand use for picking, folding, packing and preparing materials. Pay: From $18.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 20.0 per week Work Location: In person
