Part-Time E-Commerce Fulfillment Assistant

We are a fast-growing, local direct-to-consumer cosmetic brand operating out of Summit, MS. We manufacture and ship high-quality cosmetic products to customers nationwide.As we scale our operations, we are looking to hire two reliable, detail-oriented Part-Time E-Commerce Fulfillment Assistants to join our team. This position is perfectly structured for local college students seeking a premium, flexible part-time role that seamlessly fits around a heavy class schedule.Our business operates on a collaborative, co-op scheduling system. You will team up with a co-worker to alternate days, ensuring our daily orders ship out like clockwork while keeping your individual weekly time commitment light and predictable. Compensation & Benefits: Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour (Paid weekly) Employment Type: Part-Time / Independent Contractor (1099) Perks: Performance bonuses, holiday gifts, and team appreciation benefits Schedule & Hours: Weekly Commitment: Approximately 5 hours per day per person 3-4 days per week. Shift Logistics: Shifts take place Monday through Friday. Daily order packing typically requires 1 to 2 hours of focused work in the afternoon. Flexibility: You will have the freedom to coordinate shift swaps directly with your team partner to easily accommodate upcoming college exams, project deadlines, or unexpected schedule conflicts. Key Responsibilities: Order Picking: Accurately pull product items and quantities from inventory shelves based on digital invoices. Kitting & Packing: Carefully assemble product bundles into designated automatic dispensers and package them securely into small boxes or mailers. Shipping Preparation: Print, organize, and apply commercial shipping labels accurately using our automated shipping software. Dispatch: Neatly organize and stage all completed packages in the designated pickup area for daily USPS/UPS collection. Inventory Care: Maintain a clean, organized, and tidy packing station workspace. Requirements & Qualifications: Proximity: Must live within a 10-30 minute driving distance of Summit, MS. Attention to Detail: High precision is mandatory; you must care about presentation and order accuracy. Reliability: Strong personal accountability, punctuality, and consistent communication are absolute musts. Transportation: Must have a reliable personal vehicle to commute to the workshop.
