Job Title: Part-Time Diesel Mechanic / Equipment Technician Location: Spring Hill, KS 66083 (In-person shop work) Pay Range: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour (W2, based on experience) Schedule: Part-time (Flexible hours / Days can be structured to fit your schedule) Job Description: We are looking for a reliable, experienced Part-Time Diesel Mechanic to keep our fleet of pickup trucks, service trucks, and heavy excavation equipment running at peak performance. Working out of our shop in Spring Hill, KS, you will be responsible for routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs to minimize downtime. Got a Class A CDL? Even better—we have opportunities to combine wrenching with hauling if you're interested in splitting time between the shop and the road for extra hours and higher pay! Key Responsibilities: Fleet Maintenance & Repair: Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and mechanical repairs on light-duty pickup trucks, service vehicles, and heavy equipment (excavators, skid steers, dozers). Troubleshooting: Accurately diagnose engine, hydraulic, electrical, and transmission issues. Shop Upkeep: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop environment in Spring Hill. Optional Driving Duties (Bonus): If you hold a valid Class A CDL , there is potential to mix in commercial driving and hauling duties. Qualifications & Requirements: Proven experience as a diesel mechanic working on trucks and heavy equipment. Own set of standard mechanic tools. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Preferred / Bonus: A valid Class A CDL (let us know if you have one, as it opens up additional driving hours/pay). Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
