Part-Time Delivery Driver, Smokin’ Jack’s BBQ (Milwaukee)

Smokin’ Jack’s BBQ is looking for a dependable part-time driver to keep our locations stocked and running. This is a steady 3-day-a-week schedule with the chance to pick up extra hours when we have offsite events. Schedule: 3 days per week, 9 AM to 2 PM [specify days or “days may be set at hire”] Extra hours: Additional shifts available for offsite events and catering, based on the event calendar Pay: [rate], based on experience Location: Based out of Brown Deer, 6807 W Brown Deer Rd, Milwaukee, WI What you’ll do: Deliver smoked meats, food, and supplies to our Milwaukee-area locations on schedule Relay invoices between locations and make sure paperwork gets to the right person Load and unload orders carefully and keep food at safe temperatures Confirm each delivery is complete and accurate Keep the vehicle clean and report any issues right away Help with setup and transport for offsite events when extra hours are available What we’re looking for: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record [and proof of insurance] Able to lift up to 70 lbs at a time, repeatedly, and work on your feet Reliable, punctual, and comfortable with a set routine Organized and careful with invoices and delivery paperwork Familiar with Milwaukee and the surrounding area, or good with GPS and quick to learn routes Food service or delivery experience is a plus, but we’ll train the right person Must be [18/21]+ Why Smokin’ Jack’s: Locally owned Milwaukee BBQ Consistent daytime hours, with extra shifts if you want them Staff meal on shift A team that backs each other up
