Part-Time Delivery Driver – Funeral Home Casket Runs (Houston, TX)

Overnight Caskets is looking for independent, part-time drivers around Houston to move caskets between the airport and local funeral homes. We ship to families across the country, and when a casket arrives at Houston Bush Intercontinental (IAH) or Hobby (HOU), we need a reliable driver ready to pick it up and take it to the funeral home. This is on-call, flexible work. You choose the jobs you can take, and there is no minimum number of runs. Most trips are between 10 and 150 miles. Pay: $1.50 per loaded mile, paid right after each delivery. Return miles are not paid. Rates are negotiable for longer runs. What you need: your own van, pickup truck (long bed is fine), or a larger vehicle. The boxed casket measures 86" x 32" x 26". A valid driver's license, a phone, and a professional, dependable attitude. What you will do: pick up the casket at the airport freight terminal, drive it to the funeral home, move it onto a dolly the funeral home provides, unbox and inspect it, and hand it off to the staff, who will usually help.
