Now Hiring: Part-Time Delivery Driver & Errand Runner The Eat Shop — Solon / Marion / Coralville and wholesale locations in the Corridor Reporting to: Director of Operations Average weekly hours: 8–20 hours per week Pay: $15.00/hour + $0.50 per mile for miles driven on the job in your vehicle Position type: Part-time, year-round (not seasonal help) We are looking for a super reliable, friendly, year-round part-time driver who loves to drive — perfect for a retired person or someone who wants a few extra hours during the week, wants to be part of a fun team, and would love a route where you can listen to podcasts in your car while you deliver! What you'll do Occasionally fill in for morning delivery route: Depart Coralville promptly at 6:00 AM, deliver pastries to various locations including North Liberty, Coralville, and Iowa City, and return empty pastry bins to Coralville Grocery and supply run once a week — pickup groceries and deliver to the shops (day/time for this run is somewhat flexible) Pickup bakery products in Marion and deliver to Solon twice a week, and to our other shops as needed (normally Tuesday and Thursday or Friday) Occasional errands and pickups between locations Check items against the list, communicate any shortages, keep receipts, and track your hours and mileage Load, transport, and unload carefully — you're carrying precious pastries! You must have Valid driver's license and current auto insurance (proof required) Clean driving record Your own reliable vehicle — clean, well-maintained, and pet-free / free of pet hair inside, because you'll be transporting food Comfort driving in snow, rain, and inclement weather — year-round, in Iowa Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs (groceries, food bins, supplies) A phone for calls/texts about lists and timing Reliability and good communication — shops are counting on these deliveries Locations you'll serve Solon (home base) — 120 W Main St, Unit 1 Marion — 1107 7th Ave, Suite 101 Coralville — 104 E 7th St, Suite 1000 To apply: Email sales@theeatshopbakery.com or apply in person at any location.
