Part Time Delivery Driver

Badger Box Mobile Storage is a locally owned and operated company founded in Wilmington, NC in 2019. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a dependable Part-Time Delivery Driver to join our team. This position is ideal for someone looking for 1–2 days of work per week with flexible scheduling. Every day is a little different: you'll deliver, move, and pickup portable storage containers, speak with and assist customers to ensure placement is ideal for them, and operate specialized equipment that makes deliveries safe and efficient. What You'll Do: As a Delivery Driver, you'll be responsible for delivering, relocating, and picking up portable storage containers for residential and commercial customers throughout the greater Wilmington area. Responsibilities include: Safely operate our delivery truck while transporting portable storage containers. Operate our state-of-the-art remote-controlled Cardinal Mule delivery system to load, unload, and precisely place containers. Deliver, move, and pick up loaded or empty storage containers at customer homes and businesses. Provide friendly, professional customer service during each delivery. Follow daily schedules and delivery routes while communicating any delays or issues. Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Help keep our trucks, trailers, containers, and delivery equipment clean, organized, and well-maintained. Complete delivery paperwork and document any job site concerns or customer requests. Follow all DOT regulations, company safety policies, and traffic laws. What We're Looking For: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Class B CDL is preferred but not required . Applicants with experience driving medium-duty trucks are encouraged to apply. Previous delivery, trucking, towing, construction, equipment operation, or similar experience is a plus. Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions. Able to lift, push, and move equipment as needed. Strong communication and customer service skills. Dependable, punctual, and safety-focused. Ability to work independently and solve problems in the field.
