Part Time Delivery Driver

Overview As a Part Time Delivery Driver, you’ll transport small turf and AG equipment safely and reliably, following assigned routes and delivery schedules. You’ll use GPS navigation, handle loading and unloading, and communicate clearly about delivery progress. This role may involve local route driving or over-the-road (OTR) routes, depending on business needs. Responsibilities Drive delivery vehicles, including pick up and trailers, using manual or automatic transmissions as assigned. Load, secure, transport, and unload cargo; use safe manual handling practices and follow logistics cargo-handling procedures. Navigate routes with GPS and complete delivery documentation accurately. Follow Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations, along with applicable hazardous materials and dangerous goods requirements. Your impact: Safe, timely deliveries help customers receive freight and goods in dependable condition. Qualifications Required: Valid driver’s license appropriate for the assigned vehicle, safe driving practices, and ability to perform delivery driving and manual loading and unloading. Preferred: Delivery driver experience, commercial driving or truck driving experience, and familiarity with freight, automobile transportation, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, or tankers. Hazmat (hazardous materials) experience or credentials, and knowledge of hazardous materials regulations, are preferred where relevant to assigned loads. Experience with commercial truck driving, tractor-trailers, manual transmissions, and OTR routes is helpful. Must be able to follow applicable DOT and FMCSA requirements.
