Part-Time Delivery Driver
ConfidentialJob Summary The Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe, timely, and reliable delivery of medications to patients. This role provides essential support to those in need while delivering exceptional customer service and representing the company with professionalism and care. Duties 1. Represent the pharmacy in a professional and courteous manner in all interactions with the patients. 2. Schedule and deliver medications/medical equipment to client/patients’ homes. 3. Obtain appropriate client/patient documentation. 4. Pick up and clean medical equipment as needed. 5. Perform light maintenance on car/deliver van, and maintain mileage/vehicle check log. 6. Maintain equipment tracking and lot number tracking for oxygen and solutions. 7. Maintain DME delivery records. 8. Assist in resolving client equipment problems when appropriate. 9. Assume on-call responsibilities in accordance with Company policy. 10. Report equipment hazards and/or product incidents as required in accordance with Company policy. 11. Before vacations begin handoffs must be provided and reviewed to and from the direct manager and other delivery drivers in both written and verbal form a company phones should be transferred to appropriate personnel. 1. High school diploma or equivalent. 2. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record for the past three years. Commercial driver’s license (CDL) if required. 3. Effective interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills. 4. One year of drug or home medical equipment experience preferred. 5. Computer skills that include proficiency in Microsoft applications including word, excel and outlook as well as efficient use of internet and e-mail.
