Part-Time - D / DZ Truck Driver

Barclay Wholesale, a local Janitorial Supply company, is looking for a dependable, customer-focused Part-Time D / DZ Truck Driver to join our team. What You'll Do: Safely operate a straight truck (Class D/DZ) for city pickups and return to our warehouse 2 days a week Some local skid deliveries will be required on an additional day Familiar with driving in industrial areas such as Orillia, Vaughn, Etobicoke, Mississauga, Oakville, etc. Follow all rules of the road and be courteous to all other drivers at all times Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Load, unload, and secure cargo properly (ability to lift up to [50–65] lbs may be required). Coordinate with colleagues about schedules, shipment status and ETA Maintain accurate electronic logs (ELD) and delivery documentation. Provide a polite, professional attitude when interacting directly with vendors and clients on-site. Report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs to done immediately What We Are Looking For: Work Ethic: Punctual, reliable, safety-conscious, and physically fit for loading/unloading tasks. License: Valid Class D or DZ driver’s license Forklift Experience an asset Experience: Minimum of 1 to 2+ years of commercial/local driving experience. Driving Record: Clean driver’s abstract Communication: Good verbal, written English skills and cell phone use for delivery and ELD apps. Self Motivated : Able to work independently and take pride in the equipment keeping it clean and looking great at all times What We Offer: Competitive hourly wage Supportive team environment and steady runs Opportunities to transition into more hours during busy seasons Weekdays only - no weekends Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour Work Location: In person
