Part Time Courier - Northern Colorado - Monday through Friday afternoons

Job Description In this role, you’ll primarily be servicing one of our key customers, collecting samples from a manufacturing facility in northern Colorado and delivering them to a lab on the north side of Denver. Occasionally another stop or two could be added to the route but an average day will cover approximately 135 - 150 miles. This is a Monday through Friday route, starting at 4 pm in Pierce, CO and lasting approximately 3 - 4 hours total. Sometimes you get random days off (unpaid) as the customer will sometimes cancel sample pick ups but this has been rare lately. The perfect candidate can live anywhere in northern Colorado that is between Pierce and Denver. You’ll be starting and ending at your house so being located between the origin and destination is ideal. You’ll also be required to drive your own vehicle and maintain adequate insurance. The pay for this role is comprised of base pay at $19.50 per hour plus mileage reimbursement, so the total hourly reimbursement ends up between $24 and $29 per hour, before your expenses. You’ll be a W2 employee of our company. Duties Perfect attendance is paramount. Since this is a remote route, planning and communication are key when you need time off so that we can find coverage. Must be comfortable driving at night. You’ll document tasks on your smartphone in our dispatch app. Patience. Although we arrive at our customer at 4 pm, sometimes they are not ready immediately so we have to wait until they’re done. Maintain your vehicle properly - since you’re using your car, this is key to ensuring you can perform the route each day. This is a steady route that is great for the right person.
