Part-Time Courier Driver (Personal Vehicle Required)

This position involves using your personal vehicle to pick up water sample collection kits from designated locations and deliver them to a central laboratory. Pickup locations are organized by geographic area to create efficient daily routes and minimize unnecessary travel across the city. We are looking for someone who is comfortable driving throughout Philadelphia, enjoys working independently, and can commit to a consistent weekly schedule. This opportunity is best suited for someone seeking steady, ongoing part-time work rather than a short-term assignment. Responsibilities Use your personal vehicle to travel to designated pickup locations within assigned areas of Philadelphia. Collect water sample kits and safely transport them to a designated laboratory. Follow assigned daily routes and complete pickups and deliveries within the scheduled timeframe. Record pickup times, mileage, and other required information accurately. Complete pickup confirmations and required sign-off forms. Communicate promptly with the project team regarding delays, missed pickups, or other issues. Maintain consistent attendance and availability on assigned workdays. Requirements Must have a reliable personal vehicle and be willing to use it regularly for work-related driving. Must have a valid driver's license and appropriate auto insurance. Must be available for two consistent weekdays between 8:00 AM and 1:00 PM. Comfortable driving throughout designated areas of Philadelphia for up to five hours per shift. Dependable, punctual, and committed to an ongoing assignment. Able to follow assigned routes, instructions, and basic documentation procedures. Strong communication and organizational skills. Able to work independently with minimal supervision. Previous courier, delivery, or route-based driving experience is preferred but not required.
