Part-Time Commercial Truck Mechanic – Evenings & Weekends

Signature Truck Center is looking for an experienced part-time commercial truck mechanic to help with light-to-medium repairs on our inventory of box trucks and cargo vans. This is an as-needed position with flexible evening and weekend hours. It may be a good fit for an experienced technician who already has a full-time job and is looking to earn additional income. Responsibilities include: Brake repairs Lights and minor electrical repairs Oxygen sensors and emissions-related repairs Tire rotations Replacing fenders and body components Box truck corner caps Door and hardware repairs General maintenance and troubleshooting Other light-to-medium mechanical repairs What we’re looking for: Automotive or commercial truck repair experience Ability to diagnose and complete repairs independently Dependable and reliable Comfortable working on box trucks and cargo vans Own basic tools preferred Schedule: Part-time / as needed Evenings and weekends Flexible scheduling Pay: $35–$45 per hour, depending on experience and skill level. Location: Signature Truck Center Crystal Lake / Lake in the Hills, Illinois area This is not a full-time position. We are looking for someone who can help us handle smaller repairs in-house and keep our trucks moving through the reconditioning process. Interested?
