Part-Time Class 3 Driver – Front Load & Roll-Off

Pilot Mountain Disposal | Prince George, BC Job Overview Pilot Mountain Disposal is a locally owned and operated waste management company serving Prince George and surrounding communities. We're looking for an experienced, reliable, and safety-conscious Class 3 driver to join our growing team on a part-time basis, with the potential to develop into full-time hours as our business continues to grow. The position will primarily involve operating a front-load garbage truck servicing commercial customers throughout Prince George, with additional opportunities to operate roll-off trucks for bin deliveries, pickups, and swaps. We're looking for someone with previous commercial truck driving experience who is comfortable working independently. Experience operating front-load or roll-off trucks is highly desirable, and experience with both would be a strong asset. Duties & Responsibilities Safely operate front-load garbage trucks to service commercial waste and recycling bins throughout Prince George. Operate roll-off trucks to deliver, swap, and pick up waste containers as needed. Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Maintain accurate records of pickups, deliveries, and disposal trips. Take care of equipment and report any maintenance concerns. Communicate professionally with customers and coordinate daily schedules. Follow all applicable safety procedures and transportation regulations. Qualifications Valid Class 3 driver's licence with air brake endorsement and a satisfactory driver's abstract. Previous commercial truck driving experience required. Experience operating front-load or roll-off trucks is highly desirable. Experience operating both types of trucks is a strong asset. Mechanical aptitude, basic automotive repair, or welding experience is an asset. Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working independently. Comfortable operating large commercial vehicles in tight spaces and varying weather conditions. Physically capable of performing occasional manual labour associated with the position.
