Part-Time CDL Driver – Roll-Off Dumpster Truck
Rubble JockeyRubble Jockey is a growing, locally owned dumpster rental company serving Lexington and the surrounding communities. We're looking for a dependable, safety-conscious CDL driver to join our team. This position involves delivering, picking up, and exchanging dumpsters at residential, commercial, and construction sites using hook-lift trucks. Hours range from 20–40 per week, primarily Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays and the potential for full-time employment. We're a small company that takes pride in our equipment, customer service, and professionalism. We're looking for a driver who shares those values and treats our equipment and customers' property with care. This position can remain part-time or grow into a full-time opportunity based on performance and business needs. Responsibilities Safely operate hook-lift roll-off trucks for dumpster deliveries, pickups, and exchanges. Navigate residential neighborhoods, construction sites, and commercial properties. Safely position and retrieve dumpsters while protecting customers' property. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections in accordance with DOT requirements. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and equipment conditions. Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers. Follow all applicable DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety procedures. Maintain a professional appearance and provide excellent customer service. Qualifications Valid Class A or Class B CDL. Safe driving record and strong defensive driving skills. Experience operating commercial trucks. Ability to safely maneuver large trucks in confined spaces. Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with commercial vehicle inspections. Dependable, punctual, and capable of working independently. Hook-lift or roll-off experience is preferred but not required. Experience operating forklifts, skid steers, tractors, or other hydraulic equipment is also valuable. We're willing to train the right candidate. What We Offer $22–$25 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Primarily Monday–Friday scheduling.
