Responsibilities Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately to process transactions swiftly and efficiently Provide excellent customer service by assisting shoppers, answering questions, and guiding product demos when needed Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and retail math calculations Maintain store merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented Support inventory management through stocking, inventory counts, and product replenishment Upsell products by informing customers about promotions or new items to enhance their shopping experience Demonstrate strong phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely Requirements Previous cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store environment preferred Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills for cash handling and sales calculations Strong communication skills and friendly demeanor to deliver outstanding customer service Ability to multitask efficiently in a busy retail setting while maintaining attention to detail Bilingual abilities are a plus to better serve diverse customer needs Supervising experience is advantageous for supporting team operations and stock organization Knowledge of merchandising, stocking procedures, and grocery store operations is beneficial This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your retail skills in a lively environment where your enthusiasm makes a difference.
