Part-Time Boat Hauler / Delivery Driver Port Boat House Ltd. – Port Alberni, BC Port Boat House is looking for a reliable Part-Time Boat Hauler / Delivery Driver to join our team. This position is responsible for safely transporting boats and trailers for customer deliveries, pickups, service appointments, boat shows, and other dealership needs. Responsibilities Safely transport boats and trailers to various locations throughout Canada, Washington, and Oregon. Load, secure, tow, launch, retrieve, and position boats and trailers as required. Complete basic pre-trip inspections and ensure loads are properly secured. Assist with moving and organizing boats around the dealership and storage areas. Communicate with staff and customers regarding pickups and deliveries. Follow all transportation and safety requirements. Qualifications Valid BC driver's license and Canadian Passport with a minimum Code 20 heavy trailer endorsement or higher is required. Experience towing boats, equipment, or large trailers preferred. Comfortable maneuvering and backing up larger trailers. Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently. Good communication and customer service skills. Clean and responsible driving record. Position Details Part-time with hours varying based on dealership needs. Some early mornings, longer days, and occasional weekends may be required. Additional hours may be available during busy periods.
