Part-Time BLS Transportation Dispatcher

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Part-Time BLS Transportation Dispatcher to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities Manage incoming calls, providing clear and professional communication with clients, drivers, and team members. Dispatch BLS (Basic Life Support) transportation vehicles promptly using vehicle dispatch software and transportation management systems such as Angel Track Dispatch Software. Coordinate routes efficiently by utilizing GPS technologies to optimize travel paths and reduce delays. Enter data accurately into transportation management systems, including receiving records, and internal communication logs. Monitor road transportation operations to ensure compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safety standards. Communicate effectively via phone calls and internal channels to update team members on vehicle status, delays, or emergencies while practicing excellent phone etiquette. Experience Prior experience in transportation planning is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate. Familiarity with transportation management systems such as Angel Track Transportation Management or vehicle dispatch software is a plus. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—to ensure clear internal communication and customer service excellence. Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook for data entry and reporting tasks.
