# Part-Time Automotive Inventory & E-Commerce Assistant Mike's Used Auto Parts ## About the Position Mike's Used Auto Parts is looking for a dependable, organized, and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Part-Time Automotive Inventory & E-Commerce Assistant. This position combines hands-on automotive inventory work with computer-based tasks and online sales. Responsibilities include inventorying vehicles, taking photographs, recording vehicle information, entering data into our computer system, listing automotive parts on eBay as needed, and organizing parts in their designated storage locations. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, has good computer skills, and enjoys learning new things. Previous automotive or inventory experience is preferred. The right person will have the opportunity to learn additional skills and take on more responsibilities as our business grows. ## Responsibilities - Inventory incoming vehicles by recording vehicle information and completing inventory paperwork. - Take clear, accurate photographs of vehicles and automotive parts. - Enter vehicle and inventory information into the computer system accurately. - Document vehicle details and help identify and organize parts for inventory. - Create and update eBay listings for automotive parts as needed, including uploading pictures and entering descriptions. - Label, organize, and place parts on designated shelves and storage locations. - Help maintain accurate inventory records and keep work areas organized. - Assist with other inventory, online sales, and general business tasks as needed. - Learn additional duties and procedures as the business grows. ## Qualifications - Previous automotive, auto parts, inventory, or warehouse experience preferred. - Basic computer skills and the ability to learn inventory software and online selling platforms. - Good organizational skills and attention to detail. - Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently. - Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities. - Ability to communicate effectively and work well with others. - Ability to lift and move automotive parts and perform hands-on inventory duties. - Comfortable working in a used auto parts and automotive recycling environment. ## Opportunity for Growth At Mike's Used Auto Parts, we value employees who are dependable, motivated, and willing to learn.
