Responsibilities Safely operate various delivery vehicles including vans, box trucks, or personal vehicles in accordance with traffic laws and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations Load, unload, and secure food orders using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks when necessary Follow designated routes accurately while adhering to traffic regulations to ensure timely deliveries Communicate effectively with customers upon delivery, providing excellent customer service and addressing any questions or concerns professionally Maintain cleanliness and safety of the delivery vehicle at all times, performing routine inspections and basic maintenance checks Use mobile devices or GPS systems to navigate routes efficiently and update delivery statuses in real-time Assist with warehouse operations when needed, including moving inventory, stacking supplies, or operating material handling equipment Experience Prior delivery driver experience preferred, especially with courier or van driving roles involving route driving and heavy lifting Warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus Experience operating manual transmission vehicles or commercial trucks such as box trucks or cargo vans Knowledge of safe lifting practices and manual handling techniques for moving heavy items or pallets Ability to adhere strictly to DOT regulations regarding weight handling in the workplace and safe driving practices Demonstrated ability to operate material handling equipment like pallet jacks safely when loading or unloading deliveries Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional communication style Join us in delivering more than just pizza—bring your energy, skills, and dedication to a role that values safety, efficiency, and excellent service!
