taffing is hiring a Pallet Repair Technician in Indianapolis, IN. This is a hands-on position for individuals who enjoy physical work, staying active throughout the day, and working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Previous pallet repair experience is helpful but not required.
Job Duties
• Inspect plastic pallets for damage and determine repair needs.
• Repair damaged pallets using hand tools and repair equipment.
• Replace or secure damaged pallet components.
• Perform quality inspections on completed repairs.
• Sort pallets by condition and repair requirements.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area while following all safety procedures.
Work Environment
• Fast-paced warehouse and production environment.
• Continuous standing and walking for the entire shift.
• Frequent bending, reaching, twisting, and repetitive movement.
• Moderate to loud noise levels during production.
• PPE may be required depending on work area and assignment.
• Repetitive manual labor throughout the shift.
• Employees are expected to maintain productivity and quality standards.
Physical Requirements
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Ability to stand and move for the entire shift.
• Ability to bend, twist, squat, and reach repeatedly.
• Ability to safely operate hand tools and repair equipment.
