Pallet Department Supervisor

Overview Lead the pallet department’s daily operations and keep materials moving safely, accurately, and on schedule. You’ll guide the team through pallet handling, inventory control, and shipping and receiving while coordinating with logistics. Your impact: Strong inventory practices and clear team direction help coworkers locate materials and support reliable distribution center operations. Duties Lead, assign, and monitor daily work; communicate priorities, expectations, and operational updates. Oversee pallet movement, materials handling, shipping and receiving, and inventory accuracy. Operate or oversee forklifts and other material handling equipment, following Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements and site procedures. Review workflows, resolve operational issues, and identify process improvement opportunities using lean management principles. Requirements Warehouse experience, including warehouse distribution, warehouse operations, or distribution center operations; warehouse supervisor experience is preferred. Experience with inventory control and inventory management. Team leadership or team management skills, with clear managerial communication and the ability to coordinate logistics. Forklift and material handling equipment operation experience; ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the role. Knowledge of safe materials handling is preferred.
