Painter/Finish Product Tech

Overview Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Painter/Finish Product Technician, where your expertise in painting and assembly of finished products will play a vital role in delivering high-quality products. The position will require both painting and final assembly of custom BBQ trailers to meet rigorous quality standards for shipping across the country. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces for painting by performing construction painting surface preparation. Operate spray guns, including conventional and airless paint spraying equipment, to apply coatings with precision and consistency. Use hand tools, power tools, machining equipment, and precision measuring instruments to assemble, fabricate, and finish products according to quality standards. Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the warehouse or manufacturing area while ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Skills Strong knowledge of coating processes industrial painting techniques. Experience with conventional spraying, airless paint spraying, and powder coating application methods. Mechanical knowledge related to fabrication, machining, assembly, and auto painting processes. Ability to interpret manufacturing instructions and production documents accurately. Familiarity with using visual color comparison tools for quality assurance of finishes. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, spray guns, and coating spray equipment for precise application. Understanding of safety protocols including PPE use, respirator fitting, and respiratory protection measures in manufacturing environments.
