Job Summary

As the Paint Operations Manager, you’ll play a crucial role in upholding the iconic aesthetic and design of Hinckley Yachts. This role oversees all aspects of the paint business, including operations, sales, and financial performance. The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership skills and technical expertise in marine paint and refinishing. Responsibilities

  • Business Operations: Oversee daily operations, including foreman oversight, scheduling, and inventory. Analyze financial performance, manage budgets, and forecast revenue. Read and analyze work orders, production schedules, charts, and reports to determine requirements, evaluate estimates, and monitor output.  
  •  Adjust priorities as needed to achieve deadlines, quality targets, and business goals.  
  • Sales & Service: Develop strategies to increase profits and demand through new and existing customers. Provide excellent service to ensure satisfaction and retention. Ensure high-quality workmanship.
  • Safety Compliance: Maintain a safe and organized work environment. Adhere to industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Other: All duties as assigned.

Comp Range for this position is between 100-150K with bonus potential

Requirements
  • Experience: Five (5) to seven (7) years of experience in business operations, construction management, or related fields. Prior leadership or supervisory role preferred.
  • Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in business management or business administration preferred.

Qualifications

  • Experience managing business plans, sales strategies, and financial performance.
  • Ability to identify and resolve operational, technical, and customer-related issues.  
  • Familiarity with shop management software, accounting tools, and other technologies.
