Packout Technician

Help People Recover What Matters Most American Packout of Fort Worth is a growing contents restoration company. After water, fire, mold, and other property losses, we pack, inventory, clean, restore, transport, and store our customers' belongings. Those items often hold years of memories, so we handle them with care and professionalism while helping customers through a hard time. This hands-on role suits someone who likes physical work, teamwork, and staying organized. Restoration experience helps, but attitude, work ethic, and willingness to learn matter just as much. What You'll Do Pack, wrap, protect, and move household and business contents Photograph, document, and inventory items using tablets and inventory software Label and track boxes, furniture, and storage vaults accurately Load and unload trucks and move contents between job sites, our facility, and storage Clean and restore contents using company-approved methods and equipment Organize storage vaults and keep accurate storage records Carefully handle furniture, appliances, electronics, artwork, clothing, and household goods Work in homes, businesses, and warehouses while keeping work areas clean and safe Follow safety procedures and wear required PPE Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, drivers, project managers, and teammates Who We're Looking For You're reliable, coachable, detail-oriented, and take pride in quality work. You show up on time, follow procedures, respect customers and coworkers, and can work independently or as part of a team. You're comfortable using a smartphone or tablet for photos and documentation. Helpful Experience (Not Required – We'll Train) Restoration, moving, warehouse, contents cleaning, construction, remodeling, delivery, logistics, property maintenance, furniture handling, hospitality, customer service, or inventory management. Physical Requirements Lift and carry 50+ lbs repeatedly Stand, walk, bend, kneel, squat, and reach for extended periods Move furniture and other large or awkward items safely Work in hot, cold, wet, dusty, or smoky conditions, including damaged structures and tight spaces Customer Service Matters You'll often be working in someone's home or business during a stressful time. We expect our technicians to: Treat every customer's property as if it were their own Communicate respectfully Protect customer privacy Keep a clean, professional appearance Requirements Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to pass company screening Ability to safely meet the physical requirements Reliable attendance and punctuality Flexible schedule when jobs require it Pay: $19.00 - $26.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 – 50.0 per week Benefits: Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Language: Spanish (Preferred) Work Location: In person
