Packing and Shipping Associate Atlas Architectural Metals, Inc. | Carrollton, TX Job Overview Atlas Architectural Metals is a Texas manufacturer and distributor of aluminum storefront, entrance, and curtain wall systems, plus custom-fabricated doors and frames. Fast lead times and in-stock inventory are what our customers count on us for, and the shipping team is where that promise gets kept. We're looking for a detail-oriented Packing and Shipping Associate to join our Carrollton team. This is an entry-level position, and we'll train you on our products and processes. Responsibilities Pick and pack customer orders using picking lists and packing tickets, verifying part numbers, finishes, lengths, and quantities Prepare aluminum extrusions, fabricated doors and frames, hardware, and accessories for shipment, using protective packaging so finished material arrives clean and undamaged Load outgoing shipments and unload incoming material safely, using proper manual handling techniques Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely Check every order for accuracy, condition, and labeling before it leaves the building Help keep floor inventory organized and accurate through stocking, stock rotation, and regular counts Work with sales and fabrication teams on shortages, damaged material, and rush orders Follow all safety procedures, including required PPE Requirements Ability to safely and consistently lift at least 50 lbs, and to move and handle heavy, long, or awkward material Comfortable reading a tape measure and verifying lengths and quantities, with basic math skills for counts Strong attention to detail when matching orders to paperwork Willingness to learn and follow warehouse safety practices, including PPE use Reliable, team-oriented, and takes pride in getting orders right A Plus (Not Required) Prior warehouse, shipping and receiving, or order-picking experience Forklift or pallet jack experience Familiarity with aluminum extrusions, glazing, doors, or other building materials Training and Growth No experience with our products? No problem. We provide in-house training on our products, our processes, and safe equipment operation, including forklift certification. You'll be part of a hands-on team in a working warehouse and fabrication environment, handling the materials that go into real commercial buildings. Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 – 64.0 per week Benefits: Health insurance Paid time off Work Location: In person
