Packer/Shipper — Part-Time, Piece-Rate Pay Overview We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Packer/Shipper to support order fulfillment for a livestream sales operation. You will accurately pack, label, and prepare customer orders for shipment while helping maintain a clean, organized workspace. This position uses piece-rate compensation based on completed shipping labels , with additional compensation as required by applicable law. Weekly scheduling varies with livestream activity and order volume. Compensation $20 per 100 completed labels , equivalent to $0.20 per completed label . A completed label means the associated shipment has been correctly packed, labeled, checked, and prepared for dispatch. Our typical production pace is approximately 100 completed labels per hour , equivalent to $20 in piece-rate earnings for that hour . Completing 110–125 labels per hour would generate approximately $22–$25 in piece-rate earnings for that hour . Actual productivity varies with order complexity, available work, and workflow. Piece-rate earnings are calculated from your recorded completed shipments, including quantities below 100. Applicable minimum-wage protections apply. Required rest breaks and work time outside the piece-rate tasks are paid separately, with overtime paid when applicable. Schedule Approximately 15–25 hours per week , depending on the number of livestreams and orders requiring fulfillment. Weekly hours may vary and are not guaranteed. Responsibilities Accurately match products to customer orders. Pack orders securely using appropriate packaging materials. Apply the correct shipping labels and verify each shipment before dispatch. Maintain accurate records of completed shipments. Coordinate with team members to keep fulfillment moving efficiently. Report missing items, order discrepancies, or damaged products promptly. Restock packing supplies and keep work areas clean and organized. Follow company procedures and workplace safety requirements. Qualifications Strong attention to detail and accurate counting skills. Ability to work efficiently while maintaining packing quality. Dependability, organization, and clear communication. Comfortable performing repetitive packing tasks and working on your feet. Basic familiarity with shipping labels and order fulfillment tools. Previous packing, shipping, or warehouse experience preferred.
