Packer/Shipper

Job Overview As a Packer/Shipper, you’ll keep warehouse operations moving by picking, packing, and preparing orders for accurate, timely shipment. You’ll use inventory tools and warehouse equipment to support shipping and receiving, stocking, and order fulfillment. Your impact: Accurate, well-packed shipments help customers receive the right products in good condition. Duties Pick and verify orders using an order picker, radio-frequency (RF) scanner, or warehouse management system (WMS). Package, label, and stage shipments; load and unload goods while following safe handling practices. Support shipping and receiving, inventory management, stocking, and warehouse distribution. Enter shipment and inventory data using data-entry tools, Microsoft Office, inventory management software, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, materials requirements planning (MRP) systems, or AS400, as applicable. Follow shipping logistics, trade compliance, and international trade regulations; provide responsive customer service and coordinate with logistics partners. Experience Warehouse experience and familiarity with warehouse operations, order fulfillment, picking and packing, and shipping and receiving are helpful. Basic math and accurate data entry skills are important for checking quantities, labels, and shipment records. Experience with a warehouse management system, inventory management software, ERP systems, MRP, or AS400 is preferred. Familiarity with a forklift, pallet jack, order picker, or RF scanner is useful; operate equipment only when authorized and trained. Microsoft Office skills and knowledge of inventory management, warehouse distribution, logistics, and shipping logistics are valued.
